About Me

I am from a small village called Kolbong in Darjeeling, India. Back in my hometown, the probability of finding a leopard or black panther is much higher than finding someone who does IC design. I often get mistaken for a RadioShack repair guy, laptop repair guy, or something similar. Basically, I come from somewhere in the middle of nowhere in the Himalayas, a location sandwiched between China, Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh! Every cloud has a silver lining, in my place, every cloud is a fog, or it is below you!! Fast forward:
I came to Pavia, Italy, to pursue a Master's in Microelectronics at the University of Pavia in 2021. Fast forward again:
Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Micro and Nano Electronics. My project involves designing analog front-end and interface circuits for biosensors, in collaboration between the IMS² Lab at Unipvand STMicroelectronics. I derive happiness from reading and knowing new stuff, helping people, solving problems, and playing sports like basketball and football. I run weekly; it's like meditation! Recently, I started training for a sport I never thought I'd try—Dragonboat. It's hard, but I love it. Hard things are difficult to start, but once you begin, you fall in love with them. Now, the rest of the page will be filled with dummy text and a lot of photos, i seriously mean it, a lot! Sorry, but not sorry :P.
